Any funeral service can be designed to meet the specific needs of each family and we are able to assist the family in creating a service that is appropriate, meaningful and affordable.
There are two means of final disposition that accompany a funeral ceremony…Burial and Cremation. There are two types of burials: in ground burial and entombment. Following the service the family and friends proceed to the cemetery for a brief ceremony followed by an in ground burial or a mausoleum or crypt when offered.
This service includes services with Funeral Director and staff, viewing hours the evening before and prior to the service, and the funeral service at the funeral home or facility of your choice. Your floral tributes will be displayed, and you are encouraged to bring in photographs and other memorabilia to further personalize your service.
A graveside service held at the burial site is on of several service options. This is available for families that choose not to have a visitation or a funeral service at our location or your facility. It consists of family and friends meeting at the gravesite for a short service.
A personalized Memorial Service with photographs and memorabilia that can be held in our funeral home chapel or a location of choice. This service is commonly used when cremation has been chosen or when the body is not present.
Cremation is an alternative to the traditional burial when selecting cremation the family should take into consideration the types of services available. A public or private viewing, funeral ceremony, and or memorial service are available for cremation families. Once the service has been determined the family can choose a cremation casket or a rental casket suitable for the deceased.
Cremation may take place before or after the service, however many families prefer the cremation to take place after the funeral, so the body can be present for viewing during the funeral ceremony. When the creamtion occurs prior to the service, the cremated remains can be present at the ceremony in a cremation urn. The urn containing the remains may be buried, scattered at sea, placed in a niche, or kept in the home in a discreet place.
