With sorrow filled hearts the staff of R. Swinson Funeral Service announces the death of Ms. Arvis Sutton, 63, of 2304 Villa Drive, died Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
Services will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 11:00 at the Mt. Calvary FWB Church with Bishop J.E. Riddick officiating. Committal services will take place in the Sutton Cemetery, Hwy 903 South, LaGrange. A public visitation will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 PM from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.
Survivors include: five sons, Victor Sutton of Kinston, Derrick Sutton of Virginia, Jeremy Exum of Kinston, Toby Cobb of Kinston and Samuel Cobb of Japan; three brothers, Dexter Cannon of Kinston, Lennie Cannon of Washington, DC., and Tony Cannon of Greenville; five sisters, Sandra Wharton of Brooklyn, NY, Betty Williams of Trenton, Mildred Cannon of LaGrange, Cora Martin of LaGrange and Theresa Cannon of Mt. Olive, NC.; Eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
