With heavy and sorrowful hearts, we, The Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, join the Wiggins family in announcing the transition of 72-year-old Mr. Benjamin Franklin Wiggins on April 3, 2026, at the VA Hospital in Durham, NC.

Service will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 11:00 am at Greater St. Paul Holy Church, 2101 Tower Hill Road, Kinston. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Wiggins is survived by his parents, Elder Booker T. Wiggins, Sr. and Mrs. Mary C. Wiggins of Kinston, one daughter, De’Anna Branch of Baltimore, Md., two brothers, Elder Booker T. Wiggins, Jr. and Christopher Wiggins of Kinston, three sisters, Della W. Lawson of Kinston, NC, Tessie W. Yost of Winter Haven, FL, Dr. Darlene W. Dockery of Alexandria, VA; four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends,
