With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Washington Family announce the transition of 60 year old Mrs. Beverlynn E. Washington of 708-A E. King Street, Kinston on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at her home.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, August 16, 2025  from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.  There will be no visitation.

Miss Washington is survived by her daughter, LaKeeva Washington of Birmingham, Al., eight brothers, Clayton Kinsey, Mannix Kinsey, Chamore Kinsey, Cyrus Kinsey, Devon Kinsey, Joseph Washington of New York, Paul Washington and Dexter Washington of Kinston, three sisters, Lisa Kinsey, Bernadette Kinsey of New York, Valerie Washington of Kinston, one grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
