Billy Ray Sutton

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Sutton Family, announce the transition of Mr. Billy Ray Sutton of  (Browntown) Snow Hill, NC, on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC.

Survivors: son, Reginald B. Sutton (Sabrina) of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Fonda D. Sutton of Washington, DC; one granddaughter, Zoe M. Sutton of Charlotte, NC; brothers, Larry Sutton of Kinston, NC, and Danny Sutton of Ayden, NC; sisters, Judy Sutton, and Janie S. Morton of Kinston, NC, a dear/special niece, Felicia Sutton Shepard (Terry), a sister in love, Mittie Lewis, and the mother of his children, Sarah Louise Brown.

Funeral service for Mr Sutton will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel at 3:00 PM. A visitation will be on Friday, October 10, from 4-6PM at the funeral home.
