With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Huggins Family, announce the transition of 68-year-old Mrs. Bonetta Huggins Harris of Kinston on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at her home.

Service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, August 23, 2026, from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel; burial will follow in the Huggins Family Cemetery in Dover, NC

Mrs. Bonetta is survived by four brothers, Melvin Huggins of Dover, Yusef Hameed, Edward Huggins of Rocky Mount, and Donald Huggins of Fuquay; two sisters, Sonia Benton of Charlotte and Samantha Huggins of Durham; and a host of other relatives and friends.
