Brenda Dove

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Dove Family, announce the transition of 74-year-old Mrs. Brenda Dove of 1613 Dupree Street, Kinston, NC, on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at her residence.

Service will be held Friday, April 3, 2026, at 1:00 pm from Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in La Grange, and burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 4 to 6 pm at the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Dove is survived by two daughters, Jonita Hodges of Virginia, Shanika Raspberry, six grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
