With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Chapple Family announce the transition of 71-year-old Mrs. Brenda Darlene Epps Chapple of 1368 Highway 55 E. Kinston on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at UNC Lenoir Health Care.

Service will be held at noon on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel, and burial will follow in the Southview Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, from the chapel.

Mrs. Chapple is survived by her husband, Anthony Chapple of the home, two sons, Anthony Chapple, Jr., and Joseph Chapple of Kinston, four daughters, Simone Chapple, Tiffany Hartman, Nikki Chapple of Kinston, and Keisha Cheeks of Baltimore, Md
