Carleen Miller

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Miller Family, announce the transition of 90-year-old Mrs. Carleen Miller of 814 Gordon Street, Kinston, on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at her home.

Service will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at 12 noon from Vine Swamp COCDOC Church, with burial to follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, from 4 to 7 pm from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel

Mrs. Carleen is survived by her husband-Mr. Calvin Miller of the home, four sons-Calvin C. Miller of Kinston, Johnny R, Miller of Jacksonville, Fl., Ronald D. Miller of Alworth, Georgia, and Clyde T. Cobb of Wade, NC, two daughters-Elaine M. Taylor and Angela C. Lawson of Kinston, three sisters- Linda Bryant, Nancy J. Miller of Kinston and Ruby Wiggs of Virginia., 13 grands and a host of great grands and other relatives and friends.
