Cassie
Miller
April 1, 1953 – May 18, 2026
Cassie’s life was grounded in God’s love and guided by unwavering faith. She carried herself with grace, strength, and humility, always putting others before herself. Her faith was not just something she spoke about — it was something she lived every single day through her kindness, patience, and willingness to help others.
As a wife, Cassie was loving, loyal, and supportive. She stood beside her husband, “Calvin,” through every season of life, offering encouragement, comfort, and unconditional love. Their marriage was built on partnership, faith, and deep devotion. The love they shared was something beautiful for others to witness.
Being a mother was Cassie’s greatest joy. As a mother, Cassie’s love knew no limits. The love between a mother and child is one of life’s greatest gifts, and Cassie gave that love freely every single day.
Cassie’s caring spirit extended far beyond her own home. Working in daycares, she touched the lives of countless children and families. Caring for children was never “just a job” to Cassie. It was part of who she was. She comforted scared children, celebrated milestones, wiped tears, and gave hugs freely. So many young lives were better because they were loved by her. To many children, she was more than a caregiver — she was a comforting presence, a patient teacher, a reassuring hug, and a safe place. She understood the importance of kindness and compassion, especially in the lives of little ones. The impact she made in those early years of so many lives cannot truly be measured.
But what made Cassie especially remarkable was the faith that guided her life. She trusted God deeply, even during difficult times. Her faith gave her strength, and she often reminded others to keep trusting and keep praying. One of the verses that reflected her heart so beautifully is Jeremiah 29:11:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Cassie believed God had a purpose for every person she loved, and she encouraged others to never give up hope.
Another verse that reminds us of Cassie’s strength and perseverance is Philippians 4:13:
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Cassie lived those words every day. Through challenges, hardships, long days, and moments when life was not easy, she continued to show strength, grace, and faith because she leaned on Christ.
While our hearts ache because we will miss her voice, her smile, and her presence, we can also be thankful. Thankful that we had the privilege of loving Cassie and being loved by her.
Today, we honor a woman who lived with compassion, served with humility, and loved with her whole heart. Though Cassie is no longer with us physically, her spirit, her faith, and her love will remain with us always.
