With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Leonard Family announce the transition of 84 year old Mr. Charles D. Leonard of 819 Apt. A Doctors drive-Kinston, NC on Tuesday, April 28, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family.

Service will be held 11:00am Monday, May 5, 2025 from Gethsemane Seventh Day Adventist Church , burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Sunday May 4, 2025, from the Robert Swinson, Jr., Memorial Chapel from 4-6 PM.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his two daughters Maya L. Swinson of Kinston, NC, and Yolanda Stewart of Maryland, one brother Carl Leonard of Charlotte, NC, two sisters Valerie Sutton of Georgia, Beverly Patterson of Towson, Maryland
