With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Askew-Best Family announce the transition of 37-year-old Mr. Chauncy Ian Askew Best of Dumfries VA, formerly of Kinston, on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
The service will be held Sept. 20, 2025 at 12:00 noon at United American Free Will Baptist Tabernacle, and burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston. Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 19, 2025 from 4 to 6pm from R. Swinson Funeral Services.
The family will be receiving friends Sept. 19, 2025 from 6-10pm at Fairfield Receration Center 800 Greenbriar Road Kinston, NC.
