With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Mewborn Family announce the transition of 50-year-old Miss Christy Michelle Mewborn of 2948 Lemuel Dawson Road, Kinston, on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at her home.
Service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Hull Road Free Will Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16, 2024 from the Robert Swinson, Jr., Memorial Chapel from 4 to 6 pm.
Christy is survived by one daughter, Crystal Mewborn of Kinston, her mother, Christine Collier of Kinston, one brother, Michael Mewborn of Clayton, NC, four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
