Colonel Wesley Sutton

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Sutton Family announce the transition of 97-year-old Rev. Colonel Wesley Sutton of 1900 Tower Hill Road, Kinston on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at his home.

Service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 11:00 am from the United America Free Will Baptist Tabernacle, burial will follow in Oak Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 pm on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Rev. Sutton is survived by one son, Stephen Sutton of Greensboro, one daughter, Terri L. Sutton of Virginia three grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
