With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Shelley Family announce the transition of 65 year old Mr. Connie Ray Shelley of 1206 Carey Road, Kinston on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at ECU Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

Service will be held 12 noon Saturday, March 25, 2023 from the United Gospel Outreach Church, burial to follow in Westview Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel from 4 to 6 pm.

Mr. Shelley is survived by his wife-Remona N. Shelley of the home one son-Toney Noel of New Jersey, five daughters-Shakera Bethea of Kinston, Pamela Johnson of Greenville, and Debora Gonzales of Fayetteville, four brothers-Ervin Shelley of Georgia, Johnny Shelley, Calvin Shelley of Greenville and Carl Shelley of Kinston, four sisters-Barbara Franks, Betty Chapman, Mary Coward of Greenville, and Carol Parker of Kinston a host of grands, nieces, nephews cousins and other and friends.
