With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Horton Family, announce the transition of 90-year-old Mother Corinth Mae Powell Horton of 611 Edwards Ave., Kinston, on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, in the quietness of her home.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held 1:00pm Saturday, October 28, 2023, from the sanctuary of Beautiful Valley FWB Church- burial will follow in Mills Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 12noon to 1:00pm Saturday from the church.
