Daniel Lee Koonce

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Koonce Family announce the transition of 62-year-old Mr. Daniel Lee Koonce of 724 Jonestown Road, Dover, NC, on Friday, May 26, 2023, at Carteret Health Center in Morehead City, NC.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, June 3rd, 2023, at Biblical House of God Church with Pastor Paulette Bryant as the officiant. Burial will follow the service at Southview Cemetery.

Mr. Koonce leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Mrs. Debra G. Koonce of the home, daughter, Shameka Hooker of New Bern, brothers; Luther Koonce of Dover, Albert Koonce of Dover and Mr. Robert Croom of Greenville. His sisters, Patricia Raspberry, Minnie Carmon, Nancy Battle, Swannie Koonce, and Christine Koonce all from Dover Nc.
