With heartfelt sympathy, We, The Staff & Mangement of R. Swinson Funeral Services bow in humble submission to our Father God to announce the transition of 96 year old, Mother Doris D. Jones of Kinston, North Carolina. Mother Jones passed from labor to reward on Saturday afternoon, January 12, 2019 at the Harmony Hall Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Kinston.

"When I have come to the end of my journey, I want to hear his welcoming voice say, "Welcome in, thou good and faithful servant".

Celebration of  Life for Mother Jones will be conducted 12 noon Saturday, January 19, 2019 from the sanctuary of St. Peter COC DOC Church. Committal & Final burial rites will take place in the Pinelawn Memorial Park. A formal wake will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 6:00 PM-7:00 PM from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.
