Ellen Marie Coward Satterwhite

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Satterwhite Family, announce the transition of 68-year-old Mrs. Ellen Marie Coward Satterwhite of 1319 McAdoo Street, Kinston, on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at her home.

Mrs. Satterwhite is survived by one son, McKinley Gaston Coward of Kinston; two daughters, Dahrion Yates of Kinston and Forever Koonce of LaGrange; one brother, Clifton Broussard of Kinston; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
