Elliotte Ashburn

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Ashburn Family, announce the passing of 74 year-old Mr. Elliotte Ashburn of Snow Hill, NC, on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Greendale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Snow Hill.

The service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Christian Fellowship Center in Browntown. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 4 to 6 pm from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Elliotte is survived by his wife Mrs. Ada Ashburn of the home, two sons, James K. Grant of Greenville, Shelton Grant of Snow Hill, one daughter, Bridget Jones of Charlotte, one brother, Allen Ashburn of Virginia, two sisters, Regina Blackwell, Karen Rucker both of Virginia and a host of grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
