Elmer Davis (Pee Wee)

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral services along with the Davis Family announce the transition of 79 year old Mr. Elmer Davis (better known as Pee Wee) of 3475 Neuse Road, Kinston, on Thursday, January 12, 2023.

Services will be held 1:00pm Friday, January 20, 2022 from United American Free Will Baptist Tabernacle, burial to follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 4 to 6pm from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Elmer is survived by his wife-Nettie P. Chadwick Davis of Boston, Ma., sons-Thurman Davis of Albany, NY and Elmer Davis, Jr. of Gloucester, Ma: two sisters, Teresa Faye Davis of Goldsboro, NC and Palmer Dixon (Curtis) of Kinston , five brothers-Calvin Davis of New York, NY, Swindell Davis (Annette) of Kinston, NC ,Alvin Davis, Thurman Davis, Jr. and Bernard Davis all of Kinston, seven grandchildren, four great grands and a host of other relatives and friends.
