With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Williams Family announce the transition of 37-year-old Mr. Ernest Williams of 701 Candlewood Drive, Kinston, on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at his home.
Service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 12 noon from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel, burial will follow in Southview Cemetery on Monday, February 9, 2026. There will be no viewing.
Mr. Williams is survived by his mother, Gwindolyn Williams of the home, his father, Ernest Venters of Charlotte, NC, three brothers, Torry Williams, Hakeen Williams of Kinston, Ernest L. Venters of Charlotte, NC, four sisters, Latoya Williams, Ebony Williams of Kinston, Bobbi Pompey Venters of California, and Renalene Brown of Charlotte, NC.
