With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Derring Family announce the transition of 91-year-old Mrs. Estella Fordham Derring of 511 N. Queen Street on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at her home.
Service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 2:00 pm from Perfecting Family and Friends Church, burial will follow in Hickory Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023, from 4 to 6 pm from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. Derring is survived by three daughters-Louise Harrison, Willie Mae Brown of Kinston, and Estella Young of Boston, thirteen grandchildren a host of great grands, and other relatives and friends.
