Ethel Pearl Strayhorn Patrick

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Patrick Family announce the transition of 97-year-old Mrs. Ethel Patrick of 3268 Poole Rd., Kinston, on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at UNC Nash Hospital in Rocky Mount, NC.

Service will be held 12 noon on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Jerusalem Free Will Baptist Church, 395 Jerusalem Church Road, Seven Springs, NC, burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, Kinston NC.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 from 4 to 6 pm from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Patrick is survived by two sons, Titus Patrick and Charles Patrick, one daughter, Mary Parks, two sisters, Marion Smith and Gloria Lofton, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
