George "POP" Wesley Hussey

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Hussey Family announce the transition of 72-year-old Mr. George Hussey, better known as "Pop". of Kinston, NC,  on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Harmony Hall in Kinston.

A memorial service will be held 1:00pm Saturday, May 27, 2023 from the Robert Swinson, Jr., Memorial Chapel.  There will be no public viewing.

Mr. Hussey is survived by three sons- George Holloway, George Lawson and Falando Lawson all of KInston, three daughters-Shakena Hussey, Sheila Lawson of Kinston and Chuquita Hussey of Dudley, NC. one brother-Charles B. Hussey of California, four sisters-Dorothy Torrencee, Winifred Whitfield of KInston, Linda Hussey of Philadelphia, Pa. and Joyce Tyler of  Durham, thirteen grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and other relatives and friends

The family is receiving friends at 302 E. Capitola Ave., Kinston.
