With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Mills Family announce the transition of 81 year old Mrs. Geraldine D. Mills of Whitsett, NC formerly of Kinston, on Thursday, September 1, 2022.  Service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, September 10, 2022 from Victory and Dominion Church in Snow Hill, NC, entombment will be held at Evergreen Memorial Estates in Grifton, NC.  Visitation will be held Friday, September 9, 2022 from 4 to 6pm from the chapel.  Mrs. Mills is survived by four daughters-Kathy Walker of Gibsonville, NC, Helen Graham of Winterville, NC, Parasenia Jenkins of Archdale, NC, and Wanda Parris of Whittset, NC, two step-daughters-Judy Blackwell and LeeAnn Mills Grady, one step-son-Eddie Mills of Greenville, NC, one brother-David Waters, five sisters-Evelyn J. Waters, Carolyn Logan, Annie Battle, Barbara Andrew and Carolyn Sellow, nine grandchildren and fifteen great grands
