Kinston
In humble submission to the will of Almighty God, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Robinson-Yates Family, announce the transition of 66-year-old Mrs. Geraldine Robinson Yates of Kinston on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at her home.
Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at St. Peter COC-DOC, and burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel from 3 to 6 pm.
Mrs. Yates is survived by two sons, Pomorantz Yates of the home and Shinoal Yates of Kinston; two brothers, William Robinson of Clayton, NC, and Ronnie Robinson of Kinston; one sister, Lottie Pickett of Kinston; three grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
