With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the King Family announce the transition of 82 year old Mrs.  Harrriet King of 1436 Hamilton Blvd.-Kinston, NC on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Kitty Askins of Goldsboro, NC. 

Service will be held 1:00pm on Thursday, May 1, 2025 from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel, burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from 4 to 6 pm from the chapel.

Mrs. King is survived by one son, Dolphy Hill, Jr. of Texas, Four daughters, Josephine Arnold, Barbara Hill, Christine Hill of Kinston and Rosa Whitfield of Snow Hill, two sisters, Betty Franklin of Kinston and Edna Franklin of Georgia, two stepsisters Linda Garner of Goldsboro and Patricia McKiver of Albertson and a host of grandchildren and other relatives and friends
