With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Ward Family announce the transition of 77-year-old Mrs. Irish Ward of 3970 NC 111 N. Albertson, NC on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at ECU Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

Service will be held 1:00 pm Sunday, February 15, 2025 from New Salem Free Will Baptist Church in Pink Hill, NC, burial will follow in the Oakridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the church on Sunday.

Mrs. Ward is survived by two sons, Travis Ward of Pink Hill and Keith McKiver of Albertson, NC, ten grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends
