The Staff & Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services joins in sorrow with the family of Mr. Jesse "Mute" Hickman, 54 years old, who transitioned from this earth on Sunday, June 12, 2016.

Services will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel. A pubic visitation will be held one hour before the service from 10:00-11:00 AM from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel. Burial will take place in the Hickory Grove Cemetery.

​Survivors include: two daughters, Carolyn H. Smith of Raleigh, and Tara J. Hickman of the home; his granddaughter, Kenisha Smith of Raleigh; two sisters, Louise Strickland ad Flora Roberson both of Dover, NC.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
