With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Service along with the Williams Family announce the transition of 61 year old Ms. Joann Williams on Friday, December 2, 2022 at the UNC Lenoir Healthcare Center.

Service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, December 9, 2022 from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel, burial to follow in Parrott Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Thursday, December 8, 2022 from the chapel from 4 to 6pm.

Ms. Williams is survived by two sons-Willie Smith  and Frank Smith, one daughter Leandra Williams, three brothers-James Williams, Larry Williams and Billy R. Williams, five sisters-Mamie Gray, Brenda Whitehead, Sue Carol Brockett, Annette Roberts and Jannette Sutton and a host of other family and friends.
