With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Carraway Family, announce the passing of 62-year-old Mr. John Carraway of La Grange, NC, on Sunday, September 27, 2028, at UNC Lenoir Health Care.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at the State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro, NC. There will be no visitation on Wednesday.
Mr. Carraway is survived by his mother, Mrs. Geraldine Carraway of La Grange, NC, and many other relatives and friends.
