Swinson Funeral Services announce the passing of Ms. Julia Pettiway, 72, of 107 E. Peyton Ave. Apt. 8-F, died Saturday, April 16, 2011, at Kitty Askins Hospice in Goldsboro.
Ms. Pettiway's services will be held at 3 pm. Saturday, April 23, at Swinson Funeral Service with Apostle Frederick Rhoe officiating. Survivors include sons Jerome Mccoy of Wallace, Johnny Pettiway of Durham; daughters Connie Ellerbee of Kinston, Mary Croom of Virginia, Gloria Glover of Raleigh and Gwendolyn Hammond of Philadelphia, Pa.; brother Leroy McCoy of New Jersey; sisters Gladys Fladger and Deloris Bethea of Fair Bluff; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. Friday, April 22, at the funeral home.
