Latonia Franklin Mason

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Franklin and Mason Families, announce the transition of 54-year-old Ms. Latonia Franklin Mason of  Kinston, on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at UNC Lenoir Medical Center, Kinston.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, November 28, 2025, at the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel. There will be no visitation.

Latonia is preceded in death by her son Jaylin Joyner, her mother Margaret Franklin, her grandmother Mary Moore, her brother Andre Moore, and her sister Sophia Wooten.

Latonia leaves cherished memories for her loving children, Charmaine Franklin, Xavier (Lamont) Franklin, and Ja’Ceir Joyner, one sister, Keena Franklin Warren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
