With heavy and sorrowful hearts, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services join the Davis and Olds family in announcing the transition of 80-year-old Ms. Louetta Barbara Olds Davis, better known as "Chicken," to many in Kinston. Barbara transitioned on July 17, 2024, at UNC-Lenoir Healthcare in Kinston, NC. 

She is survived by her sons, Glenwood Olds ( Katherine), Gregory Olds, and Victor Olds, and her daughter, Donya Olds Meadows, all of Kinston; 12 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.

The Memorial Service will be held at noon on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from Present Truth Ministries.
