Lula Mae Turnage

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Turnage Family announce the transition of 92 year old Mrs. Lula Mae Turnage of 906 Fairfield Ave., Kinston, on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at UNC Lenoir Health Care

Service will be held 2:00pm Saturday,  January 14, 2023 from Hull Road FWB Church, burial to follow in Westview Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Friday, January 13, 2023 from the chapel from 4 to 6pm.

Miss Lula is survived by four sons-Dennis Turnage of Pennsylvania, Curtis Turnage, Nathaniel Turnage, Jr, of Kinston, and Tony Turnage of Greenville, eight daughters-Lois William of Texas, Betrum Jones, Katrina Rouse, LaWanda Turnage, Joyce Gray, Shonda Turnage, Carmel Taft of Kinston and Gloria Harris of Virginia, thirty grandchildren a host of great grands and great, great grands and other relatives and friends.
