Marilyn Grace Pittman Sutton

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Sutton Family, announce the transition of 87-year-old Mrs. Marilyn Grace Pittman Sutton of 1189 Will Baker Road, Kinston, on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at her home.

Service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, March 13, 2026, at St. James AME Church, and burial will follow in Pin,elawn Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel from 4 to 6 pm.

Mrs. Sutton is survived by her husband, Dennis Sutton of the home, three daughters, Michele Jones of Winston-Salem, NC, Sonya Garner of Kinston, NC and Hope Satterfield of Grifton, NC, one brother, Arthur Pittman of Maryland, one sister, Doris Pittman Smith of Kinston, eight grandchildren a host of great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
