Mary Ella Patterson-Canady

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Canady Family, announce the transition of 91-year-old Mrs. Mary Ella Patterson-Canady of 1137 Will Baker Road, Kinston, on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Signature Healthcare. 

Service will be held at noon Saturday, June 18, 2022, from Emmanuel Hill Free Will Baptist Church, with entombment to follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park. 

Mrs. Canady is survived by four sons-Bennie Canady, Clevon Canady, Marvin Canady of Kinston, and Larry Canady of Raleigh, three daughters-Edna Russell of Kinston, Linda McNair of Maryland, and Denise Canady of Garner, NC, twelve grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.  Visitation will be held Friday, June 17, 2022, from 4 to 6 pm from the chapel.
