Maxine Venters Curry

With heavy hearts, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services and the Curry Family announce the transition of 71-year-old Mrs. Maxine Curry of 1907 Carey Road, Kinston, on Sunday, June 23, 2023.

The service will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.  

There will be no public viewing, but you may stop at the funeral and sign the register book.

Before the celebration of life, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will conduct the Omega-Omega Service at 11:00 AM.

Mrs. Curry is survived by one son, Marcus Curry of Colorado; one daughter, Amber Curry of Florida; three brothers, Ernest Venters, III, Virgil Venters of Kinston, and Charles Venters of Fayetteville; two sisters, Annie Faye Gooding of Kinston and Regina Venters of Winterville, and a host of nieces and nephews.
