With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Green Family announce the transition of 45 year old Miss Melissa Gail Green of 301 Summit Ave., Kinston, on Friday, May 23, 2025 at ECU Medical Center, Greenville, NC.

Service will be held 7:00pm on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.  Visitation will be held one hour before the service on Wednesday. 

Miss Green is survived by her mother, Virginia Green of the home, one daughter, Alyssa N. Green of Kinston, two brothers, Cecil Green of Winston-Salem, NC, and Christopher Green of King, NC, and her best Friend, Rebecca A. Felts of Hillsville, VA.
