With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Joyner Family, announce the transition of Mr. Melvin Joyner of 2005 Carr-Lyles Drive, Kinston, on Sunday, March 13, 2022.
Service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, March 17, 2022, from St. Augustus AMEZ Church, burial to follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2022, for the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel from 4 to 6 pm.
Mr. Joyner is survived by his wife-Mrs Blendia Moore Joyner of the home one daughter-Yolanda Joyner-Martin of McLeansville, NC, two grandchildren-Melvin T. Martin of McLeansville and Viya E. Gooding of Kinston,
