With heavy hearts, we the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Parker Family, announce the transition of 77-year-old Melvin E. Parker formerly of Kinston who was taken to glory on December 3, 2021, in Baltimore, MD.
Services will be on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 1:00 PM at United American Free Will Tabernacle. Burial will take place on Monday December 13, at 10:00 am at Eastern Carolina Veterans Cemetery. A public visitation will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021, from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.
