Biography
With sorrowful hearts, the staff of Swinson Funeral Services, Inc. would like to announce the passing of 65 year old, Ms. Mercie Whitfield-Best of 302 E. Washington St. who passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
A Homegoing Celebration will be held 1:00pm Sunday, December 23, 2012 from the Lawson Chapel United Holy Church with Elder Jackie Barrett officiating. Burial will follow in the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 4:00pm-7:00pm Saturday evening, December 22, 2012 from the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel.
