With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Dawson Family, announce the transition of 82-year-old Mrs. Mexico S. Dawson of 1560 Airport Road, Kinston, on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 6, 2024, from the Holly Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A public visitation will be held Friday evening in the Robert Swinson Jr. Memorial Chapel.
