Michael Darden

With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, along with the Darden Family, announce the transition of Mr. Michael Darden on Thursday, May 5, 2022, in Greensboro, NC. 

Service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, May 13, 2022, from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.  Visitation will be held Thursday, May 12, 2022, from the chapel from 4 to 6 pm. 

Mr. Darden is survived by his two sons-James Holmes of Kinston, Jalen Darden of Virginia, three daughters-Miqueyn Strickland, Keonia Darden of Texas, and Portia Elder of Virginia, three brothers-Edward E. Darden of Texas, Jerry L. Darden and Preston Sutton of Kinston, four sisters-Myrtle J. Darden of Greensboro, Shelia Pannell of Havelock, NC, Loretta Barns of Kinston and Annie Moore of Hookerton, a host of grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
