Michael Anthony Huggins, Sr

With heavy and sorrowful hearts, we, the staff and management of R. Swinson Funeral Services, join the Huggins family in announcing the transition of Mr. Michael Huggins of 3209 Hillman Rd. Kinston, NC who transitioned on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at his home. 

Service will be held 11:00 am Friday, February 23, 2024 from Jumping Run  Church, 4308 Jumping Run Church Road, LaGrange, NC28551, burial will follow in the Eastern State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro on Thursday February 29, 2024 at 12:00 noon.  Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am on Friday from the church.

Mr. Huggins is survived by his wife-Melony Huggins of the home, one son-Michael Huggins of Wilson, NC, one daughter-Michelle Underwood of Florence, SC, four brothers-Yusuf Hameed, Edward Huggins of Rocky Mount, NC, Melvin Huggins of Fort Barnwell, NC and Donald Huggins of Fuquay-Varina, NC, three sisters-Sonia Benton of Charlotte, NC, Bonetta Harris of Kinston and Samantha Huggins of Durham, NC, two grandchildren.
