Myrtle Miller, 72, of 3190 Daw Drive, departed this life Sunday, June 14, 2009, at Lenoir Me-morial Hospital. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 20 at Swinson Funeral Service with the Rev. John Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, John W. Miller of the home; brother John Williams of Sutherlin, Va.; sisters Essie Thomas of Irvington, N.J., Carol Ellison of Philadelphia, Pa., and Eva Tate of Hephzibah, Ga. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, June 19 at the funeral home. Professional Services entrusted to Swinson Funeral Service.
