With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Boone-Croom Family announce the transition of 80-year-old Mrs. Norma V. Boone, better known as "Norma Jean". formerly of Kinston, NC, on Saturday, May 13, 2023 in Hopewell, VA.
Service will be held 11:00am Thursday, May 18, 2023 from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel, burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 4 to 6pm from the chapel.
Ms. Boone is survived by one son-Dexter Boone of Virginia, one brother-Lynwood Boone of Kinston, two sisters-Sadie Brown of Kinston and Verna Wade of Philadelphia, PA., two grands and four great grands.
