With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Johnson Family announce the transition of 95 year old Mrs. Queenie Dunk Johnson of 215 Oak Street, Dover, NC, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Harmony Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Kinston.
Service will be held 12 noon Friday, February 6, 2026, from the United American Free Will Baptist Tabernacle; burial will follow in Hickory Grove Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 pm on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. Queenie is survived by one son, Vice Bishop Richard Johnson (Faye) of Selma NC, two grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
