With heavy hearts, we, the Staff and Management of R. Swinson Funeral Services along with the Hooker Family announce the transition of 64 year old Mrs. Regina Uzzell Hooker of 24-G Carver Counts, KInston on Friday, August 22, 2025 in Fayetteville, NC.

a memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, August 30, 2025 from the Robert Swinson, Jr. Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Hooker is survived by her husband, Derrick Hooker of Kinston, one son, Michael Uzzell of Raleigh, three sisters, Kate Uzzell, Brenda Murrell and Gwendolyn Woodard all of Fayetteville, NC, eight grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
